Favorite bookish sites
Better World Books ~ a great way to clean out those bookshelves AND help others! Even better still, Better World Books pays your shipping! Now how cool is that?!?
Book Drum ~ why oh why was a site like this not available when I was in school! Brings books (especially classics) to life through immersive videos, pictures, maps and music.
Book Finder ~ compare prices on over 1 million books including new, used, rare, international and with 2 girls in college ~ textbooks!
Book Wizard ~ perfect for parents and other family members to choose age appropriate books for children. Hosted by Scholastic however, all publisher’s children’s books are included in the database.
Fantastic Fiction ~ Bibliography of hundreds of thousands of authors; however my favorite part is the listing of books in a series. If ever I want to see what order to read a series in because sometimes it’s not clear on the book cover then this is my go-to site.
Goodreads ~ a staple in the book community. Create a library of books read/to be read; chat with other book lovers; play literary trivia and post reviews.
